The boat show was on last Sunday and I was ambling around down Henry Street with my parents. I noticed this for the first time, just past the Moore & Moore Gallery/Café. 

An Arcade Classic

It’s a pixelated ceramic mosaic of a space invader about one story up from the ground. It a French artist’s work called “Invader’. He anonymously pastes up characters from the 80’s Space Invaders game made from small ceramic tiles that form a mosaic. He does all around the world and brands it an “Invasion”, with maps of where to find each invasion.

I was really pleased I found it as I know maps of his Perth invasion are quite rare. I had a look at his webpage when I got home, there’s some great work on it.
